Final Fantasy XI

This page describes how you can play Final Fantasy XI if you are behind a restrictive firewall or web proxy, using Your Freedom.

Thanks to Fusekazuki, who wrote this documentation:

Getting FFXI to work with Y-F:

1) Download and install the latest version of ProxyCap from http://proxylabs.netwu.com/download.html

2) Depending on your choice to use a windower to play in windowed mode or the usual full mode, select either the launcher.exe or the pol.exe in Proxycap.

3) Set it up so that rule type is “Tunnel through proxy” and proxy is “127.0.0.1:1080”, Destination IP Range and Destination port range should be checked as “Not Restrictred”. Make sure your proxy rule is set to 127.0.0.1:1080 and that “Tunnel DNS” IS CHECKED!

4) After starting up your-freedom, click on the “ports” tab on top and check “Socks4/5” and leave the port as 1080.

5) Simply start the game up as usual and enjoy!
