New client 20070820-01
Some of you may have waited for this. The new YF client version 20070820-01 adds a button to the status panel that restarts your connection to the YF server without breaking the session, i.e. you don't lose your streams.
This comes in handy if a firewall or proxy is playing tricks on you, for example slowing your connection down after a while. Just hit the button and open a new one, it's a matter of seconds and all should be well again.
Restarting the connection only has an effect with TCP based connection protocols, i.e. HTTPS, HTTP, FTP and CGI. It has no effect with UDP.
Please tell us if hitting this button helps you -- we might ask you for a "dump" so we can learn what's going on at your place and improve the client's ability to automatically detect such problems and hit the button for you in the future.
